Founded on Prof. Waris Mir's Vision
Prof. Waris Mir (1938-1987), father of renowned journalist Hamid Mir, was a legendary academic, writer, and journalist who believed that true learning happens when curiosity is nurtured, not suppressed. He championed the right to education for every child and advocated for teaching methods that sparked joy and wonder.
Though Prof. Mir passed away in 1987, his spirit lives on in everything we do. In 2025, London School — Prof. Waris Mir Campus opened in Lahore, named in his honour and shaped by his belief that the purpose of education is to open minds, not fill them.
