Understanding Cambridge

What "Cambridge School" Actually Means in Lahore

The word "Cambridge" appears on a lot of school signboards in Lahore. It is worth knowing what it really means. A genuine Cambridge school is registered with Cambridge International, part of the University of Cambridge, to teach and assess the Cambridge Pathway. That registration is what allows a school to enter children for internationally recognised Cambridge exams, and it is granted stage by stage: Primary, Lower Secondary, and later IGCSE and A-Level.

Many schools use "Cambridge" in their marketing without holding the registration. So before you enrol, the single most useful thing you can do is check the school's name in the official Cambridge International "Find a School" directory at cambridgeinternational.org. If the school is listed, it is registered. If it is not, it is not a Cambridge Pathway Registered school, whatever the brochure says.

London International School is Cambridge Pathway Registered, and we are happy for any parent to verify us in the directory before booking a visit. We would rather you enrol with confidence than take a claim on trust.

Cambridge is the foundation. What children build on top of it is what makes the difference.
