Summer holidays in Lahore are long. Six to eight weeks of unstructured time is wonderful for the first few days — and then most parents face the same question: how do I keep my child engaged, learning, and active without turning every day into a battle with a screen?
At London School in Township, Lahore, we asked that same question before designing our Summer Camp for 2026. The answer is 13 distinct activity programmes, two age tracks, and a four-day-a-week schedule that keeps mornings purposeful while leaving families free in the afternoons.
Why summer learning matters — and why it doesn't have to be boring
Research on what educators call "summer slide" consistently shows that children who have no structured learning over the holidays return to school in September having lost a meaningful amount of what they learned the previous year — particularly in reading, numeracy and language. The effect is more pronounced in younger children.
But the solution is not to replicate school in July. Children need variety, physical activity, and the chance to explore things they don't get in a normal term. The best summer programmes mix skill-building with genuine play — and that is the principle behind every activity at London School's camp.
None of our activities are exam-prep. They are designed to build real skills — coding logic, spatial reasoning, physical confidence, creative expression, leadership — in an environment where children feel free to try things, make mistakes, and come back the next day excited to try again.
Programme overview: two tracks by age
We run two separate programmes so that the activities, pace and expectations are genuinely age-appropriate. A five-year-old and an eleven-year-old have very different needs, and mixing them does neither child justice.
Foundational TrackPre-Nursery, Nursery, KG and early primary. Sensory, playful and structured.
Activities at this age focus on sensory exploration, early numeracy, vocabulary, creative expression, and the kind of structured play that builds concentration without pressure.
Colour Craze Studio
Paint, craft and DIY projects that develop fine motor skills, colour recognition and creative confidence. Children work with watercolours, clay, fabric and collage — guided projects that still leave room for individual expression.
Rs. 6,000Brain Buzz Math Lab
Games and puzzles designed for young minds — not worksheets. Tangrams, pattern blocks, number stories, and team challenges make early numeracy feel like play and build genuine enthusiasm for maths.
Rs. 6,000Beat Bounce Club
Music, movement, dance and fitness in one energetic session. Rhythm exercises build listening skills and coordination; dance sequences build physical confidence. One of our most popular activities for ages 3–7.
Rs. 5,000Story Sparks Club
Reading adventures built to expand vocabulary, comprehension and the love of books. Sessions combine read-alouds, storytelling, role play and creative writing starters. Reluctant readers leave with a book under their arm.
Rs. 6,000Coder Kids
An introduction to coding, robotics and technology for beginners. Visual programming (Scratch Jr.) and simple robotics kits build computational thinking — sequencing, pattern recognition and problem-solving logic that serves every subject they will ever study.
Rs. 8,000
Advanced TrackClass 1 through Class 7. Real AI, hands-on robotics, leadership and physical discipline.
Activities at this age go deeper — real AI concepts, hands-on robotics engineering, a foreign language, physical discipline through martial arts, and structured leadership development. Fees reflect the specialist instructors and materials involved.
AI Innovators
Children learn to code with AI tools, understand how machine learning works at a conceptual level, and build simple AI-assisted projects. Directly connected to London School's year-round AI and Robotics curriculum.
Rs. 8,000Inventors' Club
Build your own robots with LEGO Mindstorms and Arduino-based kits. The programme moves from basic assembly to challenge-based engineering — by the end, children solve real engineering problems in small teams.
Rs. 8,000Mandarin Explorers
An introduction to Mandarin Chinese — increasingly valuable for children entering a globally connected economy. Sessions focus on conversational basics, tones, pinyin and Chinese culture. No prior knowledge needed.
Rs. 8,000Young Leaders Club
Structured public speaking and leadership development. Confident communication, debate, team leadership and presentation skills — based on research showing communication is the biggest predictor of career success.
Rs. 6,000Warriors' Circle
Martial arts training built around discipline, focus and physical confidence. Structured around core principles — respect, self-control, persistence — as much as technique. Suitable for beginners and improvers alike.
Rs. 8,000Dance Fitness Club
A workout disguised as fun. Dance routines, fitness challenges and movement games build cardiovascular health and coordination. Children reluctant about traditional sports often thrive in Dance Fitness.
Rs. 7,000Crafty Crew
Advanced DIY and craft. Origami, engineering challenges with everyday materials, textile work and product design. Develops patience, spatial thinking and the satisfaction of creating something from nothing.
Rs. 6,000Imagination Station
Creative expression through visual art — painting, drawing, mixed media and digital design concepts. Children learn formal techniques alongside free exploration. Space for ideas that do not fit neatly into academic subjects.
Rs. 6,000
What makes London School's summer camp different
There are several summer programmes available to Lahore parents every year. Here is what is different about ours.
It is run by an active Cambridge Pathway school. London School operates year-round as a Cambridge Pathway Registered institution from Pre-Nursery to Class 7. The instructors running summer camp are the same people teaching our regular students. The standards, safeguarding protocols and classroom management are the same.
AI and Robotics are core, not token. Many school holiday programmes offer a single "coding session" as a selling point. Our AI Innovators and Inventors' Club are full, structured programmes delivered by specialist instructors. They connect directly to London School's year-round AI and Robotics curriculum, which runs from Pre-Nursery through Class 7.
The schedule respects family life. Ten-thirty to twelve-thirty, four days a week. Children have mornings purposefully structured and afternoons free. Parents are not locked into a full-day programme that disrupts the whole summer holiday.
The campus is in Township. For families in Township, Model Town, Johar Town and Garden Town, the commute is short. No long drives across the city. Children arrive fresh and leave without an hour in the car on either side.
